The third in our Meals With Jesus on meals in Luke, here Tim preaches on the only miracle (apart from the resurrection of Jesus) that is in all four gospels. We see that the questions ‘Who is Jesus’ is both immediately before and immediately after the feeding of the 5000; it is this meal that causes Peter to identify Jesus as the Messiah. Why? What is it about this meal that means Jesus identity as Messiah is revealed here? That’s what this sermon is all about.
